Rotaract Club Induction ; February 4 2025

PP Sunil and IPP Kiran attended the induction ceremony of the new Rotaract Club at Algoma University, celebrating the growth of Rotary’s youth engagement. Later that evening, IPP participated in the Black History Celebration hosted by Rotary Club of Brampton.

Annual Christmas Tree Lighting – November 5, 2024

The annual Christmas Tree Lighting at Brampton City Hall is one of the city’s most cherished winter traditions. The beautifully illuminated tree, originally donated by the Rotary Club of Brampton South in 2001, continues to symbolize the club’s enduring commitment to the Brampton community.

This year, President Norm Latimer proudly represented the club on stage during the ceremony and shared a few inspiring words about Rotary’s service and the club’s ongoing community initiatives. The event once again highlighted the Rotary spirit of fellowship, generosity, and community pride

Discon -D 7080 Conference – October 5, 2024

PP Sunil Sharma represented the Rotary Club of Brampton South at the District 7080 Conference (DISCON) on October 5th, 2024. The theme was Diversity, Equity, inclusion and Beyond.The event brought together Rotarians from across the district to share ideas, celebrate service, and strengIncllusionthen fellowship.

Ladies Social – September 23, 2024

A The women Rotarians of the Rotary Club of Brampton South combined fellowship and service as they enjoyed a lovely dinner evening together while attending their regular club meeting via Zoom. ll the female Rotarians of RCBS enjoyed a wonderful social dinner evening and attended the regular club meeting via Zoom from there.

Brampton Closter clubs join for Community Service – September 23, 2024

The Rotary Clubs of Brampton joined together to host the Annual Cowboy Casserole Luncheon on September 23, 2024, at the LIONS Banquet Hall.

This collaborative event supported Wellspring Chinguacousy Cancer Support Centre and featured guest speaker Orlando Bowen, motivational speaker and former CFL linebacker.

Bingo Volunteers Appreciation – September 14, 2024

Special thanks to Mama Latigo and Usha for stepping up for the September 14th Bingo session (12–2 pm EST). Your dedication and community spirit—spending your weekend supporting Rotary instead of family time—truly make you both our Bingo rockstars!

Rotary International Citation 2023–24

The Rotary Club of Brampton South has once again earned the Rotary International Citation (Rotary Club Excellence Award) for the Rotary year 2023–24, marking our second consecutive year of this achievement. Only nine clubs in District 7080 received this honour. Congratulations to all members for their dedication and commitment!

cGaming Fund Allocation – August 18 &,24. 2024

Our club was among 11 local service organizations selected to receive cGaming funds from a group that concluded fundraising on August 18th. Aug 24th New members Manjunath and Mosun for the first time volunteered for Bingo fund raising. Congratulations team
